Designed as a temporary home for Gfeller’s artistic exploration of Madinah, this exhibition project bridges the gap between traditional heritage and modern modularity. The structure’s silhouette references the familiar vernacular of Bedouin architecture, reimagined as a contemporary canopy that offers visitors a sense of "home" and intimacy.
Conceptually, the spatial arrangement responds to the mechanics of the praxinoscope - exploring themes of mobility, depth, and enclosure. Every element was designed for technical adaptability, allowing the modular units to be seamlessly assembled and reconfigured across multiple high-profile sites, including the Madinah Arts Centre and the King Salman Convention Centre.
