Furniture design produced in collaboration with Turki Harbi and the Crowdless store.
In 1947, pioneering modernist architect Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe famously adopted the phrase “Less is More”, in the spirit of reshaping the architectural language of the 20th century and implementing avant-garde artistic and structural systems to a changing world. This philosophy rippled through the modern and post-modern paradigm, and provided new operations for how we see the world, and what beauty is. THIRD SPACE* Studio’s design for the show table at Crowdless, Saudi Arabia, embodies the spirit of Van der Rohe
in its honesty, simplicity and elegance. The design facilitates a storage space for design and fashion, without hiding the elegance of the object through the use of a transparent materiality. The design removes boundaries, and allows structure, fashion and design to
speak for itself.
